Mr Monkey on Wall Street

"It's rather overshadowed by financial institutions"

Mr Monkey found that not all the buildings on Wall Street are tall. Federal Hall was built as City Hall in 1699, and was renamed in 1789 when New York was briefly capital of the United States. It's the place where George Washington was inaugurated as first President, which is probably why they put up a statue of Washington instead of knocking the Hall down. Mr Monkey was slightly alarmed by what appeared to be smoke around George, but it turned out to be another of the odd street chimney things designed to collect steam from under Manhattan.
