Mr Monkey passed the entrance to Limehouse docks, famous in lurid fiction for being the home of opium dens. The boat picked up speed, probably because the crew hadn't got anything more to say. Monkey's boat soon arrived at Greenwich, passing an unexpected aircraft carrier (which doesn't show very well in the picture at all), and jumped off the boat at Greenwich Pier.
