Back on the deck, Mr Monkey studied the masts of the Cutty Sark. The main mast is 152 feet high. If Mr Monkey had scampered aloft and unfurled all thirty four sails, there'd be 32,000 square feet of canvas. Mr Monkey could have gone up the mast if he'd been allowed to, but Mr Rik wasn't keen on the idea, so they stayed on the deck.
