Mr Monkey scurried through the arch, admiring the enormous billowing Belgian flag. On the other side, he found there were curving galleries on either side of the arch, decorated with mosaics representing the peace loving peoples of Belgium. Though it was supposed to be ready for the 1880 Exposition, the Arc de Triomphe wasn't finished until 1905.
