Mr Monkey scampered upstairs, where they keep a lot of smaller planes. He paused to study the Hanriot HD-1, which was built in France, but mostly used by the Italian and Belgian air forces in World War One. He was intrigued by the "experimental" Kreit-Lambrickx KL-2 from 1934, and wondered if the experiment had been a success. And he found out that you can get a good view of the size of the gallery from the upper floor.
You can read about the Hanriot HD-1 at the Royal Air Force museum website.
