Mr Monkey was glad to see that the exhibition wasn't just about the Sex Pistols and things made by Vivienne Westwood. There's a special section about the Mancunian punk scene - the Buzzcocks, John Cooper Clarke, Slaughter and the Dogs and others. It was right grim up North in those days so they couldn't afford Westwood clothes, which was probably all for the best.
