On the way back to Miss Helen's house, Mr Monkey stopped to have a look at Alloa Tower. It was too late to go inside, so Mr Monkey ran around the outside, wondering why the windows on the edges were just painted on. The tower is from the 14th century, and is another place Lord Darnley lived before his unfortunate explosion.
