Mr Monkey at Castle Campbell

"They've done a nice job, you know"

Mr Monkey followed the spiral up to the roof. The castle was effectively abandoned after Charles II regained his throne and executed the owner, Argyll, for supporting Cromwell, and at some point the roof of the tower fell down. Mr Monkey examined the roof, repaired by the Ministry of Works in 1948, then looked down on the east range of the castle.
