Mr Monkey ran out into the courtyard. Looking back at the east range, Mr Monkey was interested by the loggia, or open arcade, and wondered why anyone thought it was a good idea in Scotland. He did agree it was an elegant feature. He noticed that there was a gateway through the hall range under the kitchen, so he ran out to see what there was.
