Mr Monkey scampered across the railway tracks to St Knuts torg. Here he found the Ystad Tourist Office, which doesn't look very beautiful, but is full of friendly and informative people. They run an accomodation service that can be useful if you're a fictional cop who needs to rent a house to hide a witness. Across the square is Fridolf's cafe, where Wallander often stops for a herring sandwich and a coffee or beer.

Fridolf's is 11 on the Wallander route and the Ystad Tourist Office is 13.
