Mr Monkey was surprised to find Asterix in the depths of the engine room maze, painted on a boiler of some sort. These engines powered four propellor shafts, speeding the Småland at up to 35 knots. Mr Monkey carried on wandering through the engine rooms, until he found some steps that went upwards.
