Mr Monkey at the Natural History Museum

"I favour monkey-based decoration myself, you know"

Through the main entrance Mr Monkey found the Central Hall, which he thought was rather impressive. He was interested to find out that the skeleton Diplodocus was a replica, which has been standing in the hall since 1905. Looking around he saw that Alfred Waterhouse, the Mancunian who designed the building and the decoration, had put monkeys everywhere. There are 78 monkeys on the central arches alone. Mr Monkey rather approved.
