Mr Monkey went through a room full of stuffed birds, including this dodo*. Then he arrived at the entrance to Earth Galleries, only he arrived from the wrong side, so he saw the back of the big globe first. He ran round the front, and took the escalator up, through the globe, to the Earth Galleries.
*Mr Monkey was mainly interested in the dodo because of its connection with the books of Jasper Fforde, which are themselves Mr Monkey's reason for planning a weekend in Swindon.
