While his humans read the match programme and forgot to note the names of the players, Mr Monkey watched a large Red Devil run around the border of the pitch shaking the hands of innocent bystanders. Then the mascot ran off under the stand, and the United and Barnet players bounded out onto the pitch. Without any warning, a football match started, and in the next two minutes, the Barnet goalkeeper had been sent off for handball, and his replacement had let a goal in.
