Walking down the slope from the Gare Centrale, Mr Monkey spotted the entrance to the Galerie Bortier. This is a small shopping arcade built in 1846, but hidden behind the 1763 facade of an earlier building. Mr Monkey's humans were pleased to find that all the shops in the gallery sold secondhand books. They were even more pleased when they found out that some of the books were in English.
