Mr Monkey in Newcastle, January 12th

"That's a scary face bronze monster man, that is"

At the end of Orchard Street, Mr Monkey was slightly unnerved to see a seven metre tall chap with a broken up face standing outside Central Square, an office block which used to be a Royal Mail sorting office. After he'd decided he wouldn't want to meet Sir Eduard Paolozzi's Vulcan in a dark alley, Mr Monkey scampered off to Central Station, where he caught the Metro to South Shields.

You can read a bit about Paolozzi's Vulcan at the Commissions North website.
