Mr Monkey clambered over the headland and down onto the Long Sands. He looked back at St George's church in Cullercoats, then forward across Long Sands to the Sharp Point headland and the North Pier beyond that. He scurried across the beach, and scurried up Sharp Point to look down on the bay beneath Tynemouth Priory and Castle.
