Mr Monkey in London, March 4th

"It's old and it's modern, all at the same time"

Further down Cloth Fair, Mr Monkey had a quick look at the livery hall of the Worshipful Company of Founders, who originally cast small metal items such as candlesticks. The Company have had several livery halls since their first one, built in 1531, burned down in the Great Fire; this one was designed by Sam Lloyd and was built between 1985 and 1987.

You can read about the Founders at the Worshipful Company of Founders website.
