Mr Monkey scampered through Victoria Square. He noticed that the Clifton and Hotwells Improvement Society want everyone to know that the cricketer W.G. Grace lived here between 1894 and 1896. In 1895 he scored his 100th century in a match against Somerset.

You can read a bit about W.G. Grace at the BBC website.
