Mr Monkey in the Red Lodge

"These rooms do seem much lighter"

Mr Monkey in the print room Mr Monkey in the reception room

Mr Monkey scurried across the landing into the print room. This room was redesigned in the early eighteenth century, with the oak panelling being replaced by painted deal. Mr Monkey liked the oak panels in the other rooms, but he was impressed by how light the small print room was. After looking at some prints he ran downstairs into the reception room. This was expanded as part of the eighteenth improvements by making the verandah outside part of the inside.
