Mr Monkey had a quick look at the ships bell and the forecastle. The ships officers lived in the forecastle, with the crew in the below them in the bows. Mr Monkey strolled along the deck, inspecting things. The white mast is the main mast, and is the only one of the six masts that can't be folded down. The funnel is a replica, as the orignial was thrown away when the engines were taken out in 1882 so she could carry coal from Cardiff to San Francisco.
