In the morning, Mr Monkey caught a train to Euston, walked down to Woburn Place, and checked into the Ambassadors Hotel. He scurried upstairs to his room, and was a little alarmed to find that the corridor was a little grey, and that the room numbers all seemed to be on the floor.
