Mr Monkey scurried down the stairs from the tramstop and trotted along the towpath of the Bridgewater Canal towards Throstle Nest bridge. The Bridgewater Canal is 40 miles long and doesn't have any locks. Mr Monkey suspects that this probably means the the Duke of Bridgewater was good at spotting flat land for his canal.
