Mr Monkey scampered to the end of platform 5 at York station, and patiently waited for the Scarborough Spa Express to arrive. It arrived in a cloud of smoke, and as it passed him Mr Monkey admired the bright shiny green locomotive, then began to worry that it wasn't going to stop. Trains from York to Scarborough aren't usually pulled by steam engines, unless they're chartered by the National Railway Museum.
You can read about the steam train journeys organised by the NRM at the National Railway Museum website.
