Mr Monkey in York, August 12th

"There's a lot of concrete on that grave, you know"

Outside the museum, Mr Monkey let his humans buy ice cream from an old Thames van. Then he scampered across the Castle Mill Bridge to St George's churchyard, where he had a look at the rather odd grave of Dick Turpin, the murdeous thug famed for his exploits as a highwayman and less famed for assassinating a cockerel*.

* Which is what led to him being hanged to death, which proves somethng or other.
