Mr Monkey went into the Museum voor Industriële Archeologie en Textiel (also known as MIAT) to learn about Ghent's industrial past. Over three floors he was shown the history of Belgian industrialisation, examples of textile machinery, and a range of interesting properties of textiles. He wasn't allowed to take pictures, though. And he was tickled to see that most of the machinery had been made in North West England.
You can read about the museum at the MIAT website.
