Mr Monkey looked at the buildings along the Muinkschelde until, just as the tower of St Peter's abbey appeared in the distance, the boat turned around and headed back via the Ketelvaart and the Leie to the Korenlei. As Mr Monkey approached St Michael's bridge he was interested to learn that St-Michielskerk was the only church in Ghent without a tower.
