Before Mr Monkey left the Centre, he went to look at the Creature Tree. This was made by tying the sock monkeys - and a sock squid - made by visitors to a frame, and adding instructive messages. He didn't stand too still near the tree, in case the curator tied him to it. He decided he'd have to come back before the exhibition ends in January to see if more sock monkeys decide to cling to the tree. And then Mr Monkey led his humans out into the night, where it wasn't raining so much any more.
