Mr Monkey found out that drama had always been central to Granada TV, starting with a drama about corruption in football and the world TV premiere of John Osbourne's Look Back in Anger, both broadcast live. Mr Monkey indulged his taste for crime drama by studying rather large stills from the Granada productions of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Prime Suspect, neither of which were live broadcasts.
