When Mr Cat went with Mr Monkey to see Mr Rik's sister's home, he met Miss Helen's Stripey Cat. The two cats hadn't met since May 2001 when the Stripey Cat was wrapped up in a parcel and posted to foreign parts. Mr Stripey Cat was fascinated by Mr Cat's favourite toy, the rubber band pumpkin*.
*Shut the lid and after a while, it flips open and a luminous ghost pops up, while Mr Cat laughs. Apparently, he's always surprised every time a ghost appears, and is eagerly awaiting a fish.
