Mr Monkey went past a bust of Florence Nightingale made by Steell and into the first section of the museum, which details Florence Nightingale's life before the Crimean War. Mr Monkey saw pictures drawn by her sister, and was a little shocked to learn that she had a pet owl, Athena, that she'd found at Parthenon when travelling with her family. She left it behind when she went to the Crimea, and her family carelessly locked it in an attic, where it died.
