The train stopped at the Columbia Winery, and everyone jumped off for a tour. Mr Monkey admired the winery building, and inspected some of the hundreds of 59-gallon barrels in storage. There aren't any vineyards around the winery because Western Washington is too wet for the grapes to grow properly, and most of the winery's grapes are picked in the Cascade Mountains in Eastern Washington and transported to the winery under cover of darkness.
You can read about the winery at the Columbia Winery website but only if you're over 21.
