Mr Monkey rides the Spirit of Washington

"I think they said there were about 250 passengers today"

Mr Monkey had been warned that anyone ignoring two blasts on the whistle would be left behind, so when he heard the first whistle he trotted back to the train. He spotted the little yellow portable steps that humans need to get aboard the train, and admired the shiny cars. Three of them were built in 1937, one in 1938, one in 1950, and two in 1952. If the train had been fully booked, there'd have been 367 passengers.
