"The name is a misquote from Zola, apparently"

In the basement, Mr Monkey saw a large glass mosaic called That Man May Use It Freely as the Air He Breathes, the Waters of the Rivers, the Winds of Heaven, which had been made in 1958 for the Seattle City Light company by Jean Cory Beall. It was donated to the museum when the company left their original building. Mr Monkey left the museum, noticing a burning gas lamp outside as he set off towards the University of Washington.
