As he came to Station Road, Mr Monkey thought that the bridge over the canal was rather ugly. When he got closer, he realised that that the ugly bit was added when the road was widened and that the old bridge was still there underneath it. Mr Monkey very carefully crossed the road and looked back at the interestingly shaped Brabyns Lodge, which used to be the gatehouse of Brabyns Hall.
