Mr Monkey found that his path curled round and went back up onto the bridge, and he decided that his walk was ended for the day. He found a map which told him that it was possible to walk around Cheshire almost entirely on canal towpaths of the Cheshire Ring, a total distance of around 95 miles on five different canals.
