In the fingerprints section Mr Monkey used a magnifying glass to see which of the suspects had touched a glass, a cup and the victim's diary, and looked at heat-images of his humans' hands. Then he went on to look at footprints in the shoeprints section, inspected bullet marks and trajectories in ballistics, looked at threads in fibres and microfibres, bloodstains and dribble in biological traces and DNA and finally went to criminal entomology to learn about insects living in dead bodies.
