When he'd run out of forensic evidence to find, Mr Monkey listened to some witness statements. Then he compared the evidence he'd worked out to the official police evidence, and turned a handle to show who he thought was the killer. Then Mr Monkey watched a short video in which the investigating policeman told him he was totally and absolutely right in his conclusion, even if his humans were a bit rubbish in the ballistics department. Mr Monkey wasn't actually given a prize, but he did get to keep the pencil.
