Still in France, Mr Monkey was intrigued by the oddly arranged windows of the chapel of Notre-Dame du Haut at Ronchamp, but decided that's what you get when you let Le Corbusier design a church. Further on he looked at the 18th century Royal Salt Works at Arc-et-Senans. This was designed as a model industrial town, with workers houses and factories arranged around the managers' offices.
