Mr Monkey found that Vesuvius had been made to 1/1000 scale, rather than 1/25th, so it would fit into the park properly. When he pressed a button, steam started pouring out of the volcano and a mighty roar sounded from a nearby bush. This was possibly the most pressed button in the whole place. Once he'd exhausted the thrill of setting Vesuvius off, Mr Monkey studied Andrea Palladio's Villa Rotonda. Built outside Vicenza, the Villa Rotonda inspired a lot of English stately homes.
