Mr Monkey studied Leung Ka-Yin Joey's silk scroll, The Flow. This documents the history of Hong Kong's last ten years in a series of short stories about animals living in the region during such events as the SARS outbreak. Joey Leung was inspired by Deng Xiaoping quoting the proverb "No matter a black cat or a white cat, the one that catches the mice is a good cat" to encourage the people of Hong Kong to forget the past and look to the future.
