Mr Monkey found that the third caponier had been a bit demolished. Part of restoring the fort involved changing the function of parts of the building, and they needed to put in a restaurant. They cut most of one of the caponiers down and suspended a glass walled restaurant above it. Mr Monkey was impressed by the thickness of the caponier walls.
