Mr Monkey decided it was time to visit the bigger squares of Bruges. He stopped a moment to admire the gilded statues on top of the gateway at the end of Blinde Ezelstraat (Blind Donkey street), and to look down at the canal that runs under half of the street. Then he set off up Blinde Ezelstraat to get to a square called the Burg.
