Mr Monkey had a look at one of the radio rooms aboard the U-480, then went into the command centre. He headed straight for the periscope and found that he could get a fairly good view of the quayside. Really, Mr Monkey shouldn't have been able to use the periscope from the command centre - he should have been up a ladder in the periscope room. The submarine's owners have removed a section of submarine that protected the periscope eyepiece when it was lowered so that the periscope could be used without letting anyone into the actual periscope room.
