From the west door, Mr Monkey looked along the length of the Minster. He'd have been able to see all the way to the east window if there hadn't been an organ with 5300 pipes above the quire screen. It was only from here that he realised how very high the roof was. Walking up the nave, Mr Monkey looked up at the clerestory windows and the arcading below them. On the north side he spotted a dragon's head, which used to support a chain to lift the 50 foot cover off the medieval font.
