In the fashion section, Mr Monkey examined t-shirts with images based on Hokusai's Great Wave print. He looked at pictures of teenagers in manga-influenced fashion taken in Tokyo by Shoichi Aoki and in Manchester by Lorraine Shaw. There was a make-up table with instructions on how to achieve a manga look, but Mr Monkey decided against that.
