Mr Monkey visits the Cathedral of St. Vitus, 11th June

"It's a very nice way of reminding everyone who won"

Mr Monkey didn't spend all his time looking upwards. He saw an armoured knight kneeling on a tombstone leaning against the wall of the nave. Behind the choir stalls Mr Monkey found and admired a large wooden bas-relief showing Frederick fleeing Prague after his army had lost the Battle of the White Mountain. One of a pair, the panel was made by Gaspar Bechteler before 1630.
