Peering out from the top of the Powder Tower, Mr Monkey started by studying the closest buildings. He admired the copper dome on the Municipal House, then looked across the street at the National Bank. The statue, Genius with the Lion by Antonin Popp is made from two tonnes of beaten copper sheet and is a symbol of progress and liberalisation of trade.
