Mr Monkey had a look at a statue of Nelson. He spotted Nelson's missing arm and that he wasn't wearing an eyepatch. Nelson lost the sight in his right eye but the eye appeared undamaged and the Navy wouldn't give him compensation because they weren't totally convinced the eye didn't work. They paid for the arm, though. Mr Monkey scampered off to the Still and West pub, where his humans found that, because there was a wedding do on, the only dish on the menu was fish and chips.
