Mr Monkey scurried through Kensington Gardens towards the Lancaster Gate exit. Beside the Long Water he spotted a heron standing on a post in the water to hide under its own wing. A little further on he saw that the Italian Fountains were behaving properly, which was an improvement over the time he saw them when he visited in 2007. Then he took the underground to Euston and caught a train back to Stockport.
